The Saint Returns to Paramount
Deadline has broken the news that The Saint is rising again at Paramount. Anita Busch reports that Paramount has secured the rights to the Saint books by Leslie Charteris, and are working on the final details for the production.
The most likely producers seem to be a high-powered collection of Hollywood talent, including Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Brad Krevoy and Robert Evans.
The first Paramount film, starring The Saint was a good action romance that stood on its own. The issue for fans of The Saint was that the real Saint that we all know and love, didn't show up until the last few minutes. Such is the problem with origin films, and why franchises like Star Wars started with Episode IV.
Now that The Saint's origin is out of the way, the hopes are that this will be another great franchise with Simon Templar being The Saint from the very first second!
Simon Templar will be back in force, and at just the time when we most need a Saint.Labels: #TheSaint, 2016, Brad Krevoy, Paramount, Robert Evans

Well it been almost 2 decades he was away. Now it time for him to return.
One more thing There plenty of good actors who can interested play The Saint. One thing I don't want him driving a new Volvo with 4 cylinder engine. He should drive a British car like a Bentley, Aston or Jaguar again. Jensen is coming back on production put him that again too.
Burl Barer would be the person required for an ultimate advisor of this production of a Gentleman thief to get it right ! You want the original fans happy this is being done and Paramount knows what to do hopefully . Just don't give Val 6 million this was his end to the beginning to his last major single performance. Have you noticed that if you do bad ,bad comes back that is called Charma is not biased !
