The Saint in French

The Saint in FrenchJean-Marc Lofficier had done an incredible job on his website devoted to The Saint in French and has recently updated the site with even more great information.

He has information about The Saint on French Radio and an interesting insight into the details of the English to French Translations.

OK. For some reason, it will let me post comments, but wouldn't recognize me when I signed in using the link you e-mailed me. Strange.

Anyway, thanks for the plug. You gave me a great excuse to update the site. Lately I've been using French ebay to track down NEROL WOLFE covers missing in my gallery.

For the uninitiated, the original French publisher of the SAINT used a variant on the stick figure design for their NERO WOLFE and TOFF (a Saintly clone series by John Creasey) series.

I suppose Charteris, despite being protective of his design, didn't want to sour the relationship and didn't object.
