Val Kilmer to return as The Saint?

Kilmer returning as The Saint?
Vine rumor of the week has Val Kilmer reprising his role as “The Saint”. The film didn’t do that much theatrically, but apparently the studio’s happy with the returns it’s made on DVD/VHS, and has had a couple of conversations with Iceman about coming back for another. I doubt Phil Noyce will direct. Kilmer’s a big spy fan – he was wrongfully linked to “MI:3” at one point, and then some Brit spy film with Naomi Watts – so he might even be interested. I guess if he refuses, they’ll go the ‘direct-to-video’ route and cast a soap star in his place. Personally, I’d like to see Kilmer do another “Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang”. It doesn’t have to be a sequel – just something as witty, smart and, well, different.
