Volvo Design Chief Steve Matten has not rested on his laurels after bringing the XC60 Concept into the world. Steve has been working on the next S60, and these first renderings by our neighbours Auto Motor & Sport from Sweden look very promising indeed. Perhaps even sharp enough for The Saint to drive in the new TV series on TNT? The Saint has a long tradition with Volvo, what with Roger Moore driving the Volvo P1800 and Val Kilmer's red C70 coupe!

In my opinion, for the 'new' Saint, I would be most happy if his choice of car would be one of the following:
1. A dark grey Jaguar XK-R
2. Audi RS4/S5
3. Maserati GranTurismo
4. Volvo C70
As you can see,no predictable choices i.e. BMW, Mercedes or Porsche. However, to make a similar cult impact as the P1800 did, give ST a Subaru B111S. Trust me, do a Google search and take in the styling combination of the current Maserati Coupe and BMW 6 series Coupe. Very reminescent of what Volvo was trying to achieve with the P1800, 50's Ferrari front end and Ford Thunderbird Fintails. Plus, Subaru has a similar image that Volvo has, safe, utiltarian, reliable, rally sucsess, unique engine design [boxer engines]all they need is a luxury GT Coupe, like Volvo needed.
